Random prime generator

Choose a prime in a supported integer range using a reproducible seed.

How to use this calculator

Edit the seed 42 and upper bound 100. RandomPrime(lower, upper) specifies both endpoints.

Tap the math below to edit it and see the result. Once a result is ready, press Tab on a hardware keyboard to accept it. Outside a matrix, Return completes the line; the phone math keyboard has the same Return action.

Try it here

WithRandomSeed⁡(42,RandomPrime⁡(100))\operatorname{WithRandomSeed}\left(42,\operatorname{RandomPrime}\left(100\right)\right)

Interactive tools require JavaScript. You can read the guide and example without it.

What to know

The same seed and bounds reproduce the result. No prime exists in some intervals, and this is not a cryptographic prime-generation service.

Mathlean combines visual mathematical input with computation and canvas tools. Results depend on the expression and available engine support; check important answers independently.
